How to make hardwood floors look perfect
Some hardwood floors show every footprint and crumb while other hardwood floors always look perfect. The maids at Maids Gone Green often get compliments from customers about how perfect their floors look after a cleaning service. I'm happy to share our floor cleaning technique!
Go to Home Depot and purchase the Rubbermaid Reveal Mop for $28 or the Bona Mop for $40. They are both a mop that comes with a built in spray bottle and reusable microfiber mop head. The Bona comes with a bottle of floor cleaner and the Rubbermaid comes with and empty bottle.
Vacuum ALL your floors thoroughly. If any area is left unvacuumed it will quickly dirty up the rest of the floors. Vacuum under all your furniture and in closets. Now use your handy spray mop with your choice of floor cleaner and be sure to always mop with the grain in your floor and put pressure on the mop. Your using the right amound of liquid cleaner if your floor dries within 30 seconds of mopping it.
